Ollie on a WAVEBOARD and SKATEBOARD?!?!?

THIS IS DRIVING ME CRAAZY! I cant ollie on a skateboard or waveboard. I know what I'm supposed to do but when I try it I CANT GET THE BOARD TO LIFT! I already know pop the tail, slide your feet, and level out. BUT IT DOESNT WORK! Im trying everyday and the board wont jump. Im more of a waveboarder than a skateboarder. SO any help on how to doo it with a WAVEBOARD?? I think I need someone to help me in person or something. I CANT GET IT! and it doesnt help if you repeat pop the tail, slide your foot, blah blah blah... HELP ME!!!!! I CANT DO THE FREAKEN OLLIE
