How does history affect baby names?
My friend and I were talking about baby names a while ago, and she asked if I believe events in history has had a profound affect on the incidence of certain baby names. For example, has the incidence of the name Adolf gone down since the Holocaust, or has the name Diana become more popular since Princess Diana's death (11 years today, here in Australia). Anyway, I went searching online but could not really find any proof of whether this was true or not, and I was hoping someone might be able to help. Do events such as these affect how common a name is?
