Is it possible to be allergic to one breed of rabbit?

A few years ago I developed severe allergies to my Netherland dwarf and rehomed him. My mom owned his brother and I would likewise get extreme reactions just by being on the same level of the house as it was. I currently rescued a couple of bunnies out of a bad situation, neither Netherlands, and I have had them for 2 months without incident.
