No, you are not blacklisted from the military. Since you thought about infantry earlier I would suggest Gunners Mate. You would get to handle and maintain the weapons systems throughout the coast guard. I admit that I don't know much about the Coast Guard, but as an infantryman if I had to pick a job there it would be Gunners Mate.
