What is the Differance between mitosis and Meosis?

Mitosis and Meiosis are really close. The only difference is with MEIOSIS, the cell goes through another phase of reproduction. eith mitosis it replicates itself into 2 complete(46 chromosomes) daughter cells. Then the two new cells go through mitosis again, but this time the complete daughter cells split chromosomes. so the result cells are 23 chromosomes. MEIOSIS only occurs in cells.
